Food Journal & Meal Tracker FAQ

How do I get started with the Alimor food tracker?

Download Alimor from the App Store and open the app. No account required. Start your food log by tapping the + button. Just type what you ate—no searching through databases. Add how you're feeling with our mood tracker, and you're done. It takes seconds to create your first food journal entry.

Is my food diary data private and secure?

Absolutely. Your food journal stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or sell your personal data. What you eat is your business—our food tracking app just helps you understand it better. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

What's included in the free food tracker?

The free version includes unlimited food logging, mood tracking, symptom tracker, full calendar history access, and basic pattern insights. Unlike other nutrition tracker apps, we don't paywall your own data. Pro unlocks CSV exports and advanced analytics.

Does this meal tracker count calories or macros?

No. Alimor is not a macros tracker or calorie counter. Our food diary focuses on how food makes you feel—not numbers. Perfect for mindful eating, eating disorder recovery, and anyone tired of obsessive nutrition tracking.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Your Pro features will be restored automatically and you can continue your food journal daily routine.

Can I export my food journal data?

Yes! Pro users can export their food log and mood data as CSV files. Share your eating tracker data with doctors, dietitians, or therapists to help them understand your food-mood patterns.

Can I use this food tracking app for IBS or food sensitivities?

Absolutely! Alimor's symptom tracker helps you identify trigger foods. Log your meals daily with our food journal, track symptoms, and discover patterns. Many users find their IBS triggers within weeks of consistent food logging.

Is Alimor a nutrition tracker?

Alimor is not a traditional nutrition tracker. Instead of tracking calories, macros, or nutritional data, our food journal focuses on how food makes you feel. This makes Alimor perfect for mindful eating, symptom tracking, and anyone who wants food awareness without the stress of nutritional analysis.

Does the eating tracker sync across devices?

Currently, Alimor stores your food diary data locally on your device for maximum privacy. We're exploring privacy-preserving sync options for future updates. Your meal tracker data stays with you.
